The Southcentral Foundation held its Fun Run on May 13, 2017, in Anchorage, Alaska. It is a family-friendly event where people run or walk a 5K. The run showcases diabetes education and prevention. It was a hot and bright day and everyone was enjoying the weather. There was plenty of bottled water for everybody.
I took these images using my Nikon D600 with a 70-200mm f/4 lens. I had to disregard many photographs because they were out of focus even though I used a monopod to minimize camera shake. When photographing I notice it took a long time to acquire focus. The focus plane was either in front of or behind the focus point. I deleted many images because the eyes were not sharp. Later I sent my D600 in for repair and found out the focus screen had shifted in the D600. I will remove any photo upon request by contacting me at email@example.com 0r 907-240-1025.
