These images were taken during the ceremonial start of the Iron Dog snow machine race held in February 2015 in Anchorage, Alaska. The 2,000 mile Pro Class Race restarts in Big Lake the following day. Parents were photographing their kids sitting the race machines. It was a warm winter day. Alaska seems to have lost its winter season. People-caused global warming is having dire effects on the Arctic. It was too balmy to wear furs and down jackets. I will remove any image upon request by contacting me at email@example.com.
